ACER offers a new Predator screen which will have a somewhat exotic resolution and which will compete directly with the LG 38GN950 . The Predator XR383CKP will therefore have a 37.5-inch IPS-type panel with a definition of 3840 x 1600 pixels. Natively, the panel will go up to 144 Hz, but we can overclock it up to 160 Hz with Adaptive-Sync support and therefore AMD Freesync and apparently the screen is NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. The slab will be curved at 2300R, with a 24:10 ratio. HDR 600 support will also be found, thanks to its 1.07 billion colors and maximum luminance at 600 nits. The contrast ratio will be 1000: 1 and the screen will cover 98% of the DCI-P3 space. Finally the XR383CKP will have a response time of 1 ms (GtG) and will be able to go down to 0.3 ms (GtG) once the overdrive is set to its maximum.
Connectivity level we have the right to a USB Type-C, but also DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0. There are also two USB 3.0 ports on the side of the screen, as well as a headphone jack. The screen will carry two 7-watt speakers. In terms of ergonomics, ACER does not change its habit with the Predator series , we have the right to a support that can be adjusted in inclination in rotation and in height. ACER has not yet communicated a price or availability date for the XR383CKP .
